GTG Anti-Racism Intentions

The GTG Team has developed three intentions as we move forward with integrating anti-racism, diversity, and inclusive practices into our programs, social media, and podcasts. Generation Three Girls was never just about us; our hope is to create a dynamic community full of different experiences and voices. We built our business strategy with the intention of recruiting and supporting the widest range of people, backgrounds, and communities, so putting forward these action steps will keep us accountable as leaders.

  1. We pledge to make GTG’s community a space where people feel welcome, invited, and included. To do this, we want to create an environment where all voices are valued and heard, educate ourselves and use the platform to educate others, and continue to cultivate relationships and partnerships with a diverse group of people.

  2. In addition to creating a diverse and welcoming community, we pledge to make sure our programming reflects more voices than just our own. By inviting guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds (and compensating them for their time!), to highlighting the work of leaders in the BIPOC community, we want our workshops, programs, and website to reflect our investment in championing education and learning from different perspectives.

  3. Finally, we pledge to make a financial investment in organizations, non-profits, and causes that are doing important work. A portion of the proceeds from our workshops and programs will be donated to a relevant cause and this will always be reflected in the marketing and communication about the event.

We will continue to grow and expand our dedication to these intentions into the future. If you have any suggestions, comments, or thoughts about ways we can integrate anti-racism, diversity, and inclusive practices into our community, please email generationthreegirls@gmail.com. We would love to hear any feedback you may have.
